Walking Trails
Parker Ridge has an extensive network of 9 trails ranging from easy, wheel-chair-accessible paths to longer, more challenging loops and connecting trails. Visit ponds, geologic formations, and historical features on your wanderings, all the while enjoying the views, secluded spots, and the glory of nature all around.
When Parker Ridge opened its doors in 1992, some of our residents who love the outdoors formed a Walking Trail Committee. With enthusiasm for the project, they explored the property to build walking trails leading down to Parker Point Road and to the waters of Blue Hill Bay. Our adjacent neighbors have opened their trails to us, and nearby waterfront property owners allow our residents access down to the water.
Over the years a trail system has been built and maintained by resident committee members. Our facilities team helped build a bridge over a creek.
Today residents enjoy numerous trails with different surfaces to walk on.
