We understand that maintaining independence and control over all aspects of life is important to our residents. A little assistance can go a long way toward finding a successful balance of being self-sufficient with safety and convenience.
To assist those living independently at Parker Inn, we can provide a variety of services that allow our residents to get the help they desire to maintain their independent lifestyle. These services can be provided on a regular basis or as the need arises. Available services include:

Case management and/or direct care

Drawing blood for routine lab work

Medication ordering and pickup

Foot care

Medication administration

Assistance with bathing

Pre- and post-operative eye drop administration

Meal preparation

Periodic telephone contact

Other assistance, including pick-up and delivery of personal care products
Our Certified Nurse’s Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Support Specialists (PSSs) are on duty 24/7 and have completed a course approved by the Maine State Department of Health and Human Services. Certified Residential Care Medication Assistants (CMRAs) have completed an educational training program approved by the Maine State Department of Health and Human Services, and recertification is required every two years. Our registered nurses (RNs) are licensed by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
